My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Buzz, a tender-hearted pup with a shy soul and a whole lot of love to give. This sweet little guy is still learning that the world isn’t so scary, and he needs a patient human who can help him discover it at his own gentle pace.

Buzz can be timid with new people — he may bark or tuck himself away when strangers appear — but once he trusts you, he transforms into the snuggliest, most affectionate cuddlebug you could imagine. He adores curling up in bed, soaking in all the warmth and security he’s been searching for.

Because of his insecurities, Buzz has a harder time making doggie friends in the shelter environment, but with time, encouragement, and confidence-building, he has every chance to blossom. One thing he already excels at? Cheese treats. Buzz LOVES them, and they’re the perfect way to win over his sweet little heart.

Buzz is hoping for a calm, understanding home where patience, routine, and gentle reassurance will help him grow braver every day. If you believe in the magic of slow, quiet trust — and you have room in your heart for a shy pup ready to bond deeply — Buzz is waiting to find his forever person. 🐾💛

All of our dogs and puppies go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested (for dogs 7 months and older). They are also up to date on core vaccines, as well as heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Each adoption includes a 3.5-pound bag of dog or puppy food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
