My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy is a sweet and calm adult female cat with a gentle heart. She has Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and would do best as the only cat in her home—or with another FeLV-positive companion. Daisy adores pets, cuddles, and loves to chat with her humans. Her calm, affectionate nature and soft, talkative personality make her a wonderful companion for someone ready to give her the love and care she deserves.

More about this shelter

We serve the pets and people in Northern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin. Our mission is clear: To take responsibility for each and every orphaned, abandoned, abused or neglected dog and cat which reaches our doors; to take them in and shelter them; to provide the best medical and physical care possible for them; to nurture them back to health if need be; and finally to place them into warm, loving, adoptive homes where they can enjoy the lives they deserve.
