Dog Day Out Review: "We took Chugga Chugga out for the day and she is as sweet as candy!! She wants nothing more than to cuddle up in your lap and just give you all the love. A true lap dog through and through! She craves it. The only thing she may love just as much as being in your lap, is being outside! She absolutely thrives outside and acts 10 years younger while running, galloping around & soaking in the fresh air, it’s soooo adorable. She has a big smile on her face when she’s outside. You’d never guess she’s 14 when you see her run around out there! Being outside & being on your lap = chefs kiss for Chugga Chugga!! Not only does she love it, but she’s excellent on leash. She totally follows your lead and isn’t reactive to any people or dogs. Even in the short 4 hours that we had her, I can just tell she is a very loyal girl and I know she will be as obsessed with her owners and they are with her. She’s just the best!"

Border Tails Rescue is a licensed no-kill animal rescue and welfare organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of stray dogs across the world, with a unique focus on Mexico. Border Tails Rescue has a physical shelter facility with dogs on site for viewing everyday. Border Tails Rescue primarily works with rural shelters across the country, including but not limited to TX, AR, AL, LA, KY, IN, and MI on a regular basis as well as CACC, Chicago’s open intake shelter. BTR is Woman-founded by Harleigh Garcia, who was 20 years old at the time. The organization was founded in December of 2019 and Border Tails Rescue is registered with Illinois Secretary of State as a non profit organization. Border Tails Rescue operates entirely on donations and adoption fees.
