My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Luna!

Age: Est. birthday 4/2/2025
Breed/Color: Domestic Short Hair
Special Feature:

Currently foster with Dog(s), Other cats, small children

This girl was blessed with a spectacular resting b@tch face—she looks mildly annoyed at the world 24/7, even while purring. But the joke’s on her, because she’s actually super sweet.

She starts off a little timid, but once she decides you’re safe, she turns into a total cuddle bug… just one who looks like she’s judging your life choices the whole time.

If you’ve ever wanted your own grumpy cat,, she’s your girl.

Luna was rescued from a struggling outdoor colony where many were very sick and wouldn’t have survived the cold weather. They were pulled just in time to get the care, warmth, and love they needed to heal and grow strong.

All adoptable cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped. FeLV/FIV tested, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and has received preventatives.

Harlow's Haven Cat Rescue is a non-profit organization the focus on saving the lives of at risk and homeless cats in our community. We provide them with a safe environment in foster homes where they can live cage free and thrive until adoption day.

Go meet their pets

We currently utilize private foster homes who are located in Adams and York county, as well as Carroll County Maryland. To meet one of our adoptable cats, you must have an approved adoption application. We do not currently have a facility but with generous donors and a great team of volunteers, we hope to have a space in the near future.

More about this rescue

Growing up surrounded by nurses has instilled compassion and a strong sense of service within Chloe. She volunteered at fundraising events for cancer patients for many years, becoming more involved as she got older. As a result of her parents fostering dogs, she became very invested in the idea of finding loving homes for homeless pets. This became even more important to her when her cat, Harlow, came into her life as a stray. With the help of her family, and a great board of directors, her concept for a cat rescue came to life!

We rescue at-risk and homeless cats to provide them with a safe and nurturing environment where they can live until adoption day.
