This helps Feline Urban Rescue and Rehab, Inc. - NJ with pet care costs.
I just had the absolute pleasure to foster Toby for the past 3 months. This is the 2nd time that I've fostered him. More on that later!
I watched a very shy cat blossom in those 3 months. He went from being traumatized from the move, to allow pets and then becoming so confident that he would come in the bathroom with me (TMI!) and sleep in bed with me. He just needs a chance. You see, he's been through a lot!
6 years ago Toby was rescued from a home that burned & the owner died. This I know because I was part of the rescue group that took the cats that fateful night. Friends of mine fostered Toby & then he got adopted by a special needs couple. Three months ago they contacted me that they were getting evicted & could no longer care for Toby.
He's a nice boy w/a big meow & he loves eating greenies right out of your hand. He's on a dry & wet food diet but he mostly likes wet food which is is really the best diet for cats anyway.
Toby will melt your heart with those puppy dog eyes that peer into your soul saying, 'give me a chance to live out my senior years'. Toby just needs his person.
