My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Comet is a 16 year old small mix who came into our lives 10 years ago.
I took him with me when I left home but my roommates cats haven't warmed up to him.
They have scratched his eye and caused him to go to the emergency vet. He doesn't mind their warnings and continues to stand next to them even when they hiss and smack him.

Comet is potty trained and has separation anxiety. He doesn't like bigger dogs getting close to him but has been friendly with them if they don't try to play with him.

I can't give him back to my family because they have a very playful German Shepherd that he gets stressed around.

The only behavior issue is that he absolutely hates hair cuts.

Comet loves baths and walks. He sometimes needs help up the stairs because of his arthritis and he has gum disease.

Overall the vets says he is unusually heathy for his age.

He needs a home with someone who is willing to be with him most of the day and doesn't mind his clinginess.
