Duckie was transferred in from a private rescue. They rescued her from running the streets (with Daffy). Shortly after Duckie arrived, it became very apparent that Duckie was pregnant. She gave birth to 8 puppies in foster care. Duckie is sweet, gentle, good with other dogs and loves to be loved. She was in foster during her pregnancy and after and her foster had nothing but great things to say about her. Duckie is doing great with her housetraining but of course will need to continue. Sadly, she was heartworm positive on arrival, but as always our awesome medical team will treat her. In the meantime? Duckie is available to go home with just the right family as a foster to adopt. That means you can bond with her during her treatment in the comfort of your own home. After the final treatment you can finalize your adoption and Duckie will be a part of your family forever.
