Flint may start out shy and a little hissy, but beneath that cautious exterior is a very sweet and gentle soul. He’s still learning to trust people and prefers to observe from a safe spot - usually a cozy corner or a good box. With patience and a calm environment, he begins to come out of
hiding to watch the world around him, allowing soft pets once he feels safe.

Flint tends to let his more confident brother take the lead (and sometimes the snacks!), so he’d thrive in a quieter home with gentle, understanding humans and possibly a calm feline friend who can show him the ropes. He’s a tender spirit who just needs time and love to blossom.

Our adoptions coordinator will verify your application information, and someone from our team will meet with you at the lounge to introduce you to your potential forever friend. We adopt out based on the best match for pets, not on a first-come-first-serve basis.

The lounge, located on 117 Edgewood Ave, is open for public walk-in hours on Friday to Sunday, from 3pm to 8pm.

Rescue and Relax is a Pittsburgh nonprofit animal rescue. We operate with a dedicated group of volunteers and foster homes, caring for homeless animals from across Western Pennsylvania until they can be placed in loving forever homes. Our cat lounge is home to between 15 and 20 adoptable cats at a time.
