My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rosie!

Rosie was transferred to us by a local animal control after her owner sadly passed away. Even through heartbreak, her spirit hasn't dimmed. She's an incredibly giddy, loveable lady who always wants to be right by your side! We even think she would be a fantastic jogging partner.

Due to Rosie's circumstances, we don't really have much history on her with kids, cats, or other dogs. We are happy to discuss with any potential adopters and host a meet and greet with the whole family to determine if it's the right fit!

Rosie is spayed, microchipped, and fully up to date on her vaccines, the only thing missing is a forever home to call her own! If you are looking for a lovebug with a zest for life, Rosie might be the perfect match!

Additional adoption info

Matchmaking is what we love to do. We do our very best to find the best fit for the pets awaiting adoption at the Rhode Island SPCA. The first step to adopting a dog from the Rhode Island SPCA is filling out an adoption application. If your application is selected, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to schedule a meet & greet. Because of the volume of applications we receive, sometimes we can only respond to the selected applicant. You are always welcome to contact us anytime about the status of your application at adoption@rispca.com.
