Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cricket, a classic tabby who is 8 weeks old, is the friendliest, cuddliest, most affectionate kitten. It’s true! This gorgeous chirpy boy will follow you around and be your little shadow, demanding kisses and face rubs. A parrot in training, he enjoys perching on your shoulder too. When Cricket wants to be picked up, he gives you his special meow, and once you’ve fulfilled his request, he will cuddle and nestle right into your neck. In fact, Cricket wants to be in your arms most of the time, happily purring then falling asleep.
Cricket was rescued from a street corner in Brooklyn when a cat lover and colony feeder heard him meowing in distress. After spending a few days in his bathroom, Cricket went to a foster where he adjusted instantly, sleeping on her chest the first night she had him. Like all kittens, Cricket is also very playful and can entertain himself endlessly with his automatic chasing toy or his tail, and you can join in on the fun with a string or some catnip toys.
Cricket has received his first FVRCP vaccine, was treated for fleas, and will be fully vetted when he’s old enough (neuter, rabies vaccine, snap test, microchipped), but he is available for adoption now to a home with another cat or to one who will adopt Cricket with a kitten friend. Cricket will melt your heart instantly and be your best buddy.

Our cats are almost all in foster homes. Upon approval of your application (including reference check), we will connect you with the foster parent(s) so that you can meet the kitty you're interested in. If it's a good fit, we'll do a home check for safety issues, and then process the paperwork so that you can officially adopt your new family member!

More about this rescue
We are a network of rescuers in Central Brooklyn (primarily in Bed Stuy, Ocean Hill, and Crown Heights) who help each other out. We do both TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) as well as the rescue and adoption of friendly cats and kittens that we find on the streets. We don't have a physical facility, so our cats are usually in foster homes, or staying with us in our own homes. Our goal is to find loving, permanent homes for all the cats we take off the street, and to make better lives for the ones we return there.
