My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m Nori! I’m a 7-year-old sweetheart with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. I’m friendly with everyone I meet!
I thrive on human companionship and would love to be your one-and-only. I shine when I’m the center of attention and would make a calm, loyal, and affectionate companion for someone looking for a loving best friend. I enjoy walks, quiet cuddles, and just being near the people I love.

If you’re ready to open your heart to a sweet girl who just wants to be by your side, I’d be so happy to meet you!

I’m also eligible for the Foster to Adopt program. To participate, you’ll need to complete the Foster to Adopt application, which includes watching two short videos (less than 9 minutes total) and answering 8 questions. You can learn more at hawspets.org/foster-to-adopt

More about this shelter

Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) is an open-admission, no-kill shelter dedicated to strengthening the relationship between animals and humans through adoptions and education – making a more compassionate community possible.

Our mission is to lead the community in animal welfare and assure sanctuary for animals in need. To that end, we envision a community where all animals are treated with compassion, dignity and respect. We invite the public to join us in our cause to spread humane sentiments throughout our community for the betterment of animals and people alike.

Incorporated in 1965, HAWS has grown along with our community, evolving into a vibrant organization and a lively facility that is the #1 resource for pets and their people.
