Meet Tonto – A Brave Little Fighter with a Heart of Gold
Rescued from: Palm Beach Animal Care & Control (PBCAC)
Coat: Long-Haired Orange and White Tabby
Medical Miracle: Survived critical anemia with an emergency blood transfusion and made a full recovery after the removal of a large polyp above his soft palate.
Personality: Confident, affectionate, and endlessly sweet.
Tonto has already overcome incredible odds—and he’s come out the other side stronger and happier than ever. Rescued from Palm Beach Animal Care & Control after being surrendered from a cat-hoarding situation (17 cats were removed that day), Tonto was in desperate need of help. The very next day, he was rushed to the vet and received an emergency blood transfusion that saved his life.
Since then, he’s healed completely—including a successful non-surgical procedure to remove a large polyp above his soft palate—and he’s now thriving in his foster home. Tonto’s soft, luxurious orange coat matches his golden personality perfectly. He’s affectionate, social, and loves attention. Whether he’s chasing toys, exploring new spaces, or curling up beside you for a nap, Tonto approaches every moment with gentle curiosity and joy.
Tonto is a resilient, loving kitten who’s ready for the bright future he’s fought so hard to reach. Fully vetted and full of heart, he’s now just missing one thing—a forever home to call his own.
