My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fathom is a 7 year old great dane found loose in a neighborhood on the edge of SE portland and Gresham. The owner of her microchip gave us information and she has stayed with us for about 4 weeks. She is a lovely companion who happens to be about at hand-height when you are standing together for easy petting!

She is amazing with humans including kids but can be reactive with large dogs. She can get along with large dogs when introduced safely and correctly but it takes time to get her comfortable with large dogs. She is good with small dogs and her old owner says she is good with cats. She doesn't go potty in the house and is well trained and well behaved. Truly the only challenge is that big dogs scare her even on walks. We would love to keep her but didn't plan to adopt a dog and need someone else to give her a home for her golden years. I can give some supplies with her.

She is in great shape for 7 years old, we would have guessed she was only 3-5 until the old owner told us 7.
