My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My adoption fee is waived through 12/14 for SNOW PLACE LIKE HOME: a fee-waived adoption event for all dogs over 1-year-old!
- Blue collar, larger
- My friend Cali and I are a bonded pair and must go home together!
- I am very sweet and love meeting new people.
- We are both still working on housetraining
- I love to snuggle and go outside for our walks
- I am super easygoing with being picked up.
- We like to sing the song of our people (we can be a bit barky)
- I am a bit of special medical needs case in that I have a significant heart murmur that will need routine veterinary care/check-ins
- I will need a home without a lot of stress or excessive exercise since I shouldn`t over-exert with my heart

Cats: We could be okay with a dog-savvy cat
Dogs: No male dogs
Kids: 10yrs.+ since Cali can be fearful
Weight: 11.6lbs.

Submit Application

Either submit an application in advance of visiting or upon your visit. Staff will approve your application as quickly as possible.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Meet with pets that are a potential to be your new family member. (This can be done prior to your application being approved.)

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once you have found the right match staff will go over all the information you may need to help make the adoption successful.

BHS Adoption Hours:

Monday: Closed
Tuesday and Thursday: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Sunday Afternoon: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Closed to the public at Noon on the last Wednesday of every month.
