Likes: springs!!!!, playing with toys, climbing, people-watching from the window
Dislikes: strangers, being held
What would be the ideal home?: a home with space to climb/run around and play in, and with patient owners willing to give him time/space to adjust
Good with other cats?: Unknown, may benefit from the presence of a friendly cat
Good with dogs?: Unknown
Good with children?: Unknown, but probably not unless they can be patient and give him his space
Personality: Very playful and curious! Loves to go sprinting after his springs, and whenever there’s a noise outside he’ll be dashing to the window to investigate. But also extremely shy and nervous around new people
How long will it take to settle into a new environment?: Probably a few weeks to a few months
Any special needs or traits an adopter should know?: As of right now, Goliath is still in the process of being socialized, and doesn’t let anyone pet him. He’s gotten comfortable in his foster’s home and loves to hang out and play, but will still back away if someone tries to pet him. We hope that with time and socialization, Goliath will learn that humans are a safe source of affection, but it’s possible that he may never be a lap cat. However, he’s a very silly and playful guy who will add a lot of light and laughter to your life.
