Cadence is an energetic female mixed breed.
Her too DNA is 23% percent Rottweiler and 11% Pug. (DNA results are posted)
She is a medium /large size weighing about 60lbs.
Cadence gets along well with other dogs and even cats (the ones currently living in her foster home) she may want to chase new cats until she’s figured them out. She is friendly to most everyone, however young children are not her jam, their
squeals of delight and sudden fast movements, scare her and she may nip.
Her current foster mom walks her daily and she really enjoys the exercise.
She is kennel trained but also does well loose in the home.
Cadence would love an active individual or couple who would hike, camp and take her on many adventures. Another canine companion in the home would be an added bonus. One that’s another size for play.
She LOVES playing ball but doesn’t like to share the ball 😂
We will give preference to a home with fully fenced yard but an apartment with a well thought out exercise /potty plan might work.
If children are living in the home, we ask that they are age 10 and up please.

Our dogs come to the adopter "ready-to-go" with current Vet health checks, all shots and vaccinations current and the animal spayed or neutered, as well as micro-chipped.
Our adoption process can take 2-4 weeks to process as we are run completely by volunteers, all of whom work full time jobs.

We focus mainly on saving dogs that are at risk or on “Death Row” in shelters in our area, and placing them to great families.
