My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Two Tone`s Compatibility:
Dogs - Yes!
Cats - TBD
Kids - Best with the teen crowd (14+)

Two Tone is a young, sweet, outgoing pup who greets the world with full-body wiggles. She’s playful, crate trained, and did great living with a smaller dog. In playgroups she wrestles, chases, and reads other dogs really well. She can get excited like any puppy, but she’s also the kind of girl who helps shy dogs feel brave.

There is one thing she’s practicing with us. When she has a toy or treat she really loves, she sometimes wants to keep it to herself. It’s a lot like a kid clutching their favorite stuffed animal a little tighter. We’ve been working on simple trading games and structure, and she’s catching on quickly. She does best with teens or adults who can help her keep building good habits.

Two Tone is ready for a family who will guide her, cheer her on, and enjoy every silly puppy moment along the way. Come meet this bright, happy girl and see if she’s your match!

More about this shelter

With an open admission policy, a No-Kill philosophy, and more than 3,100 animals crossing our threshold each year, we have still maintained a 98% placement rate over the last 3 years.

This is an amazing feat for any organization…let alone one that takes in some of the most abused, injured and seriously ill animals imaginable.
