**Bagheera and Akela are bonded and need to be adopted together. They are available for foster or foster to adopt placement until they are spayed in December when they will then be available for adoption **
Meet the Jungle Book Babies — Bagheera (our tiny black-and-silver panther) and Akela (our soft fawn-colored marshmallow)! These sweet little sisters are only about 4 months old and already bursting with charm, silliness, and snack-related enthusiasm.
Bagheera is the social butterfly of the pair — she’ll zoom to the front of her x-pen like she’s been rehearsing her grand entrance all morning. Akela is a bit more reserved at first, quietly assessing the situation… but within moments she warms up and joins the party like, “Oh yes, I was totally confident the whole time.”
Their favorite activities include:
🥕 Fresh veggie feasts (served preferably ASAP)
💃 Binkying with zero warning
💆 Receiving head scratches like pampered queens
They’re doing well with their litter box training — not quite valedictorians yet, but definitely on the honor roll of “trying really hard.” And we think they may stay on the smaller side, meaning extra-compact, extra-adorable rabbits.
These girls were rescued in November 2025 after a kindhearted citizen found them abandoned in a ditch in Dublin, VA. Now they’re safe, snuggly, and ready to start their next chapter.
