In the Beatles litter, Lucy is a bit mysterious, just like her famous-song namesake. Sometimes she even disappears for a bit but not up a tangerine tree or seeking out marmalade skies. Lucy is a very sweet girl that likes to retreat to her safe spot before allowing pets, explains her foster dad. Once you start though, she is in the for the long haul! We love watching her wrestle with her sister, Eleanor Rigby, and how it really does look like she has the sun in her eyes. Lucy would thrive in a quieter home with an adopter willing to give her time and space to settle in. Then, the skys the limit for Lucy!

Whiskers TNR of Warren County aims to improve the quality of life for the county’s stray, dumped and feral cats. We also help responsible pet owners with expenses related to having their cat spayed or neutered. Whiskers provides educational information to increase public awareness of the need to better care for and prevent cats from becoming homeless. We encourage adoption and help strengthen animal rescue services throughout Warren County.

Whiskers TNR of Warren County supports humane education programs for the public and encourages respect and compassion for all animals. We strive to make a difference in the community, one cat at a time.

Whiskers TNR of Warren County is a corporation in the state of Iowa and is ruled by a board of directors. Whiskers is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity. This means that your donation is deductible on your annual income taxes. Whiskers TNR became organized and tax exempt in June of 2016.
