Honey Dew is a sweet but shy female guinea pig who may be a little timid at first. She enjoys exploring her space at her own pace and nibbling on fresh veggies and hay. Honey Dew will do best in a calm, quiet home where she can feel safe and build confidence slowly. Like all guinea pigs, she needs a spacious enclosure, plenty of hay for chewing and digestion, fresh vegetables daily, clean water, and gentle social interaction. With patience, love, and proper care, Honey Dew is ready to become a delightful and cherished companion.

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.
