Hello! My name is Asu, and I'm a 5-year-old female German Shepherd weighing around 60 lbs. I was found off Ridge Road near the Goodwill in Rockwall on 11/05/2025 alongside my friend Archie, but sadly, neither of us were reclaimed. Now, I'm ready to find a loving family and a cozy home to call my own. I'm a sweet, mature girl who enjoys the simple things in life—quiet evenings, gentle walks, and soft beds perfect for napping. I'd do best in an easygoing home with a family that appreciates calm companionship and loyal love. If you have another dog at home, a meet and greet is recommended to make sure we're a good fit. My adoption fee is $125, which includes my spay, microchip, and up-to-date annual core boosters. I did test heartworm positive, but thanks to Rockwall PAWS, my treatment is fully covered—so all I need now is a family to cheer me on through recovery. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
