Meet Hansel!
This handsome 3-month-old kitten is as sweet as he is adorable! Hansel came into our care with his sister, Gretel, and has been charming everyone he meets ever since. With his soft grey and white coat and bright, curious eyes, he’s the picture of kitten perfection.

Hansel is a playful, affectionate little guy who loves the company of other cats — he’s especially become best friends with another kitty here named Jack O. Lantern! Whether he’s chasing toys, cuddling up for a nap, or following his feline pals around, Hansel is always ready for fun and companionship.

If you’re looking for a friendly, social kitten who will fit right in with your home (especially if you already have another cat!), Hansel could be your perfect match.

We require all adopters to complete an application and pay an adoption fee. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $160 to $185. We may do a vet reference check and/or home visit.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
