Tay Tay is one of the pups from our Swifties group. She is a 1.5 year old, 8 lb Chihuahua mix. She is so tiny, you want to just hold her and protect her all the time! She and nine other small dogs were dumped on a country road in East Texas, and Humane Tomorrow took them all into our adoption program. Our wonderful, dedicated volunteers who have been caring for these dogs all say they have fun and friendly dispositions. Tay Tay is now in a foster home and was a little shy at first, but she warmed up quickly. She loves to curl up on a comfy blanket inside her open crate. She has now been fully vetted and ready for adoption. All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.
Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats
Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs
The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.
