Zen and Benny are very cute 8 month old brothers. They are very sweet and friendly boys and purr happily when you pet them.
Zen – He is mostly buff with white markings and gold eyes. Zen can be a bit reserved at first but once he feels brave, he plays with enthusiasm. He loves catnip toys.
Benny – He is buff and white (more white than Zen) and also has lovely gold eyes. He is very curious and always has to check out what you are doing and be part of it.
These two are a dynamic duo of fun and will make you laugh every day. Whether they are chasing toy mice, leaping off furniture, or playing with one another, Zen and Benny are always on the move. They are playful, adventurous, and full of curiosity - in the best possible way! If you are looking for double the entertainment and love, these boys are your guys. They both use the cardboard floor scratcher and also the carpeted scratching post. Watching the activity out the windows is very entertaining for these two.
They have not been around dogs in our program and would probably prefer a home without dogs. They are fine with the foster’s older grandchild who is cat-respectful. They are too active to be adopted into a home with adult cats. Remember, cats can live 18+ years so be sure you can provide them with a forever home.
Zen and Benny are neutered, FeLV and FIV negative, and distemper and rabies vaccinated. The adoption fee is $350 for the pair. Call 651-771-5662 to inquire about these adorable boys.

Initial contact is made by leaving a message on the Second Chance's answering machine - expect a return call within 24 hours. Potential adopters will be screened before a referral is made to the foster home where the animal is currently housed. They can expect to fill out a written application, sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee when meeting the animals. Adopters must be at least 20 years old. If renting, the landlord's consent in writing is required or a copy of the lease brought with adopter at time of adoption. Must have familiarity with local animal ordinances so you know how many cats/dogs you are permitted - this will vary from city to city. Potential adopters must understand that their application can be denied.
