My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Jem was found in a car engine near James street and Washington Ave, hence the name. Her rescuers contacted our volunteer for help with the little mite, and Jem promptly decided she would be the perfect kitten.

Jem gets along with any cat she meets, if they like cute little nosy kittens. She is fairly independent but likes to cuddle when she decides her humans are worthy of her attention. She loves to play, and her favorite toys include furry mousies and a Turboscratcher.

She dines on Friskies canned food and a variety of dry food. An occasional Churu treat does not hurt either, she says.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

A potential adopter fills out an adoption application in person or online. The application is reviewed by an Adoption Counselor. Then that applicant is interviewed and, if the candidate and the pet are a good match, the paperwork is completed to finalize the adoption.

Go meet their pets

Many of our animals are in foster homes, but we do have some cats and dogs at our Adoption Center in West Palm Beach. We also have adoptable cats on site at several PetSupermarket locations throughout Palm Beach County, as well as at the Delray Beach PetSmart. We have adoption events on most weekends all over Palm Beach County. Please visit our website, www.animalrescueforce.org, and click on Events to see what events are coming up.
