My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

!!! Adoption fee is reduced to $50 for the month of November!!

Meet Miss Amore! 🎶

We're looking for someone to give Amore an opportunity in a home with a cat looking for a best buddy.

Amore more absolutely adores feline friends! She thrives on kitty companionship and must go to a home with at least one other cat. Expect gentle play sessions, grooming marathons, and cozy naps with her cat pals — she’s happiest in good company.

With humans, Amore is still finding her comfort zone. She’s not a lap cat (at least not yet!) and prefers affection on her own terms. She’ll happily hang out nearby, offer quiet company, and keep watch over your daily routine — but she’s not quite ready for cuddle duty.

For background, a well intended family took in Amore when she was a kitten and did not socialize her properly, leaving her in a room by herself for long periods of time. While she has made strides in the few months she has been with us, Amore will need someone with patience and understanding, someone who is willing to continue to work with her and give her some space in the beginning while she adjusts. She is not aggressive in any way, can be pet, but she doesn't ask for snuggles or is overly affectionate.

Because she’s still learning to trust, Amore needs someone patient who can give her time to adjust and do a slow, gentle introduction to their home. The right person will let her blossom at her own pace — and be rewarded with a sweet, curious companion who’s full of heart.

Amore is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

Priority will be given to homes with another cat. Ready to bring a little more Amore into your life? Apply now at soscatsrva.com — no obligation!
