He’s a Belgian Malinois mix with a sleek black coat that gleams in the sun, soft brown socks, a little white on his chest, and expressive upright ears that are always tuned in to what’s happening around him. He’s handsome for sure — but it’s his personality that really shines.
Rome is smart, athletic, and full of joyful energy. He loves being active and would be a fantastic companion for someone who enjoys hiking, running, or outdoor adventures. That said, he’s not all go-go-go — he also knows how to settle and enjoy downtime with his people.
He’s crate trained, housebroken, and friendly with other dogs. Like many young pups, his play style can be enthusiastic, but it’s all in good fun. Rome is very treat-motivated and eager to learn, making him a joy to train and bond with.
At home, Rome enjoys good food (chicken, duck, and salmon are top-tier in his book) and even appreciates some background music — rock and roll is his favorite, though he’s willing to humor a little country now and then 😉 He’d love a home with another dog to play with, especially one who can match his energy.
