My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lucy and Ethel, a bonded pair of 2-year-old sister dogs who must be adopted together. They are Rottweiler Husky mixes, with a sprinkle of Doodle. They were found in a Dollar General parking lot where they stayed for a week until help came.

These two are deeply connected to each other and are happiest when they’re side by side. While they do well with other dogs, they are more independent and not very people-focused — they’re content with each other’s company. We expect them to really open up and thrive with the right family.

Because of their personalities, Lucy and Ethel would do best in a farm or rural home where they have space to roam, explore, and live life on their own terms. They’re active, alert, and would thrive in an environment where they can enjoy freedom, routine, and each other’s companionship.

If you’re looking for a bonded pair of dogs who are low-key with people but loyal to one another, Lucy and Ethel may be the perfect fit.
