It’s grease lightening!

Say hello to ZUKO!

This handsome blue eyed flame point male is ready to race into his new forever home!
Now you might be wondering why he is named Zuko? Well he has a bit of a greasy story… Zuko was pulled from a grease injection system where he wedged himself into a teeny tiny space at a local wireline company. He was dirty, he was hungry and he was terrified.

Once we got hands on him he melted into a puddle of love. He can be shy at first but once you hold him he never wants to leave.

Zuko is good with other cats but can be scared of dogs and small kiddos.

He has been fully vetted! He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative.

See a pet you're interested in please submit our adoption application!

Approve Application

Please allow our volunteer's a few days to review your applications and we will be in contact with next steps in our adoption process.

Meet the Pet

We do set up meet and greets for all animals prior to adoption. We like all family members to be present as well as other pets in the home.

4.
Home Check

We do require a fence check for all of our adoptable dogs to ensure they have a secured outside area.

Additional adoption info

We offer trial adoptions for all of our pets! We understand that adopting a pet is a huge commitment and once they have settled into a new environment sometimes it's just not a good fit for our families. Our trial adoptions are no obligation periods where if it does not work out, we take our dog or cat back no questions asked,

Permian Basin Animal Advocates is a 501(c)3 non profit, no kill organization that works with foster homes in the Permian Basin Area to rescue neglected animals from the streets and/or kill shelters and get them permanent, approved homes. We strive to educate the community on the fundamentals of responsible pet ownership, TNR, and the importance of spaying and neutering.
