My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

As handsome as he is sweet, Ziggy is a calm and quiet young "Shepskie" and with a heart full of love. Don’t let his striking looks fool you — this boy is as cuddly as a giant teddy bear! Ziggy adores being close to his people and has a gentle, affectionate nature that wins everyone over. He would make a great family dog for a family with school aged children or an active couple looking for a companion to share in outdoor adventures.

Ziggy is smart and eager to please — potty trained, knows basic commands, and easily uses a doggy door. Ziggy is a quick learner who thrives on positive attention and structure.

Ziggy was found as a stray, but his rescuers knew right away he was something special and quickly got him into the care of Norsled Rescue and a loving foster home. He’s wonderful with other dogs — big or small, young or old — and reads social cues beautifully, letting others take the lead. His foster is currently working on cat introductions, and the early signs are very promising!

Ziggy has been neutered and is up to date on his vaccines.  If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and well-mannered companion who brings both beauty and heart into your home, Ziggy (a.k.a. The Ziggster) might be your perfect match.
