My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Havik – The Sweetheart Adventurer!
Age: 4 years
Breed: Alaskan Husky (Male)
Adoption by Appointment Only

Meet Havik, a 4-year-old Male Alaskan Husky with the perfect balance of energy and affection! Havik`s searching for an active, Husky-experienced family who can match his adventurous spirit—and appreciate his loving, cuddly side.

Like all Alaskan Huskies, he thrives on activity. He loves to run, hike, and explore, and he’ll need a home that can give him plenty of daily exercise and mental engagement. But when the day winds down, this handsome boy turns into a total snuggle bug—he’s incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle up with his people.

He will flourish with a family familiar with the breed who can provide structure, stimulation, and lots of love. He’s the perfect mix of adventure buddy and couch companion!

Important: All introductions are by appointment only, so please contact the shelter to schedule a meet-and-greet with Havik.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

$180 for dogs, $100 for cats. All animals must be fixed at the time of adoption, or the owner is required to sign a contract stating they will have their animal fixed within 60 days of adoption. Once fixed, the owner will receive a refund of $100 for dogs, and $75 for cats. All animals are microchipped, vaccinated, and dewormed, and held for a minimum of 14 days after arriving at the shelter to rule out any diseases. They are also flea, earmite and fecal checked by our Veterinary Technicians. Adopters must fill out an application, which is reviewed by two senior staff for approval.
