My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

💜 Meet Lexapro! 💜

Lexapro is the only short-haired member of her litter — a sleek, stunning sweetheart with a personality as soft as her fur. She’s super snuggly and loves spending time with her favorite people, whether that’s curling up beside you while you work or keeping you company during a cozy TV night. 📺💻

But Lexapro has a little secret… while she might look solid gray at first glance, she has adorable hidden calico spots on her belly! She’s the perfect blend of calm companionship and playful charm — the kind of “co-worker” who makes every day brighter. ☀️🐾

More about this rescue

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
