Oso is a 5-year-old shepherd mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. This goofy, loving boy is always up for an adventure-whether that's hitting the trail, chasing a ball, or cuddling up on the couch after a long day. Oso is very well-trained and ready to impress: he's leash trained, place-bed trained, crate trained, and even has reliable off-leash skills with an e-collar. He enjoys playing games like hide and seek/"find it" and he enjoys to run on the treadmill. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys the occasional day at doggy daycare.
As a shepherd mix, Oso can be barrier-reactive (windows, fences, leashes), and he tends to be an anxious guy in busy environments. Because of this, he must go to a home without young children. We are heartbroken that Oso is not doing well with the stress of us having a second child and we are searching for a new loving home for him. He needs a calmer environment where he can relax and thrive.
