Meet Oscar, a very handsome and very silly Tuxedo lad. When he warms up to you (a process that will take equal parts patience and treats), this dignified gentleman will have no qualms about hilariously dive bombing his head into your hand or leg for pets. Chin scritches are his favorite, and are a quick way to get him to start purring. Just try and restrain yourself from gently booping him right on his perfect chin circle, we dare you!
He's very acrobatic and loves chasing around wand toys (fair warning to his new guardian: your home will slowly be littered in feathers from his enthusiastic efforts). After he's done playing, he is happy to flop alongside you while you work or watch tv. He's a curious boy, and will always be intrigued by whatever it is that you're doing.
Oscar is currently on a diet to trim down a little bit. He's also been diagnosed with a heart murmur, which we're in the process of investigating.

We are a group of dedicated volunteers in Burlington, VT with a focus on rescuing and caring for stray and abandoned cats in our community. We provide safe, loving foster homes for cats of all ages until they are adopted. They receive socialization, a nutritious diet, any necessary vet care (including spay/neuter surgery) and lots of TLC while in our care. We do our best to find the right home for each cat considering their unique personalities and ongoing needs. We also offer resources, advice and support to cat caretakers in our area.
