Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Duke is listed as a male, 3 year old German Shepherd Dog…🥴 obviously he’s got a lot of probably everything in there, your guess is as good as mine, but he is the PERFECT size! Duke is the absolute BEST trickster ever! He knows “sit”, “lay down”, “shake”, “spin”, and “roll over” (for the most part)!! I have never seen a dog that just absolutely LOVES to show off their tricks like Duke does! He is obsessed with showing you how smart he is! Not only is he so smart, he is also the silliest, happiest, sweetest boy. I spent our whole time together laughing at how funny he is! He loves to be loved on, however he does get a little mouthy, but it completely corresponds with his personality. It’s not at all aggressive, it seems to be more of a play “biting” but i suggest going slow and gentle when touching around his neck and leashing/unleashing him. He is a sweetheart who just loves to play! He loves treats and takes them gently for the most part, he sometimes gets excited to do his next trick and takes the treat a little too quickly.. but is easy to correct once you remind him!!❤️❤️
✏️ Shelter notes: For Duke: Per owner: friendly with all people, including children. Friendly with dogs. Not good with cats. ~ he is good with children and other dogs not good with cats high energy needs someone willing to give him the time and energy he needs. *Surrendered due to NO TIME*
🐶Duke has not yet been tested with other animals. I will update the post once he has. Meet and greets with your pet are always recommended!
📌Duke walks very well on a leash! He walks closely right by your hip, but does get easily distracted. He comes right to the front of his kennel, and as listed above he does fine with leashing, but does some play bites so be slow and gentle with him to make him feel comfortable!🫶🏻
⭐️Duke would make a great addition to a family! He loves attention and is such a good boy. He would thrive in a home that will provide mental stimulation and let him show off his tricks!
