First of all, let me state that if I don't believe you would be a good fit for Boo, I will not rehome her. I adopted her when she was six months old and has been my companion for eleven years. I adopted another dog to be her companion while I worked and they had a dog door to the back yard to run around in and for other business.
About five months ago, my other dog passed away. Over the last year, she slept a lot and she was older than Boo. She developed a cough and congestive heart failure and had trouble breathing. I had to put her down and it was like seeing my child die. Boo grieved for about a month and bounced back like her old self.
I work full-time and have to commute in a lot of traffic on I-35, so I am away from home sometimes ten hours a day. I also found out I was allergic to dogs.
Boo is all alone and she sleeps most of the day,
I don't want her to have this kind of life!
I want her new people to have time for her, preferably retired and can spend time with her.
