My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Roxy, a sweetheart who can't wait to add some cuteness to your household. She may be a touch shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly, especially if you bring out her favorite wand toy. Once she feels comfortable, her playful personality shines bright.

Roxy is a truly gorgeous and unique-looking cat. A mix of Siamese and snow-white beauty, you're sure to melt looking at her icy blue eyes.

Roxy loves to play. She’ll chase a wand toy with gymnastic flair. After playtime, she'll snuggle up near you on the couch, purring like a tiny engine. She is great with the litter box, and takes her treats gently.

Her bond with her sister Coco KRLA-A-86313 is precious - they wrestle, zoom, and curl up in a purring heap together, sweetly grooming each other. Two cats are so much easier than one; they keep each other company when you are out of the house, so you don't have to worry about lonely kitten syndrome!

Perfect match: Roxy would thrive with another playful cat, ideally her bonded buddy Coco, so she always has a partner for both mischief and cuddles.

Additional adoption info

We adopt animals to homes in the Los Angeles area and neighboring counties.

To help ensure that we place our cats in loving, responsible, committed homes, we have a screening process before you can adopt a pet from Kitten Rescue. We reserve the right to turn down potential adopters as we deem necessary. First, we ask that you complete our Adoption Questionnaire at kittenrescue.org/cat-adoption-form/. You can complete the form online or you may stop by a weekly adoption event to complete form in person. Second, a home visit or a home delivery of the cat or kitten is also required as part of our adoption process.

The Kitten Rescue adoption fee is $150 for a kitten or cat up to 10 years old, and $100 for each additional kitten or cat to the same household ($250 if you adopt a pair). Cats above 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%, for an adoption fee of $75 each.

All of our cats have already been:
Spayed or neutered
Vaccinated – with at least one FVRCP vaccination
Treated for fleas
Dewormed
Tested for FeLV (Feline Leukemia) and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus)
Microchipped

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
