What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Meet Bailey, our sweet 4-year-old rescue girl. She’s a proud little tripawd, but don’t let that fool you—she’s fast, active, and it absolutely does not slow her down! She loves going on walks, has good leash manners, and knows several commands including sit, leave it, wait, lay down, and off.
Bailey is a total snugglebug who loves attention. She’s kennel-trained and will happily go to her crate to relax. She’s been around teens and does good with people. We haven’t had her around small children, so we can’t say how she would do there. She’s not a big barker, but she’ll give you a heads-up if someone knocks on the door.
Her one challenge: Bailey does not get along with female dogs. We’ve worked with trainers, and while she can do well for stretches, unpredictable triggers make multi-female-dog households unsafe for her. She gets along well with our male dog, but because of her past trauma and unpredictable triggers, we believe Bailey will thrive best in a home with no other dogs.
