Sweet Mouse is a gentle and sensitive girl eagerly searching for her forever home. She thrives on structure and routine and would prefer a calm environment with no small children, as she's easily startled by surprises. Mouse is a quick learner, fully housebroken, and feels safest in her crate, which she uses as her personal safe space. She also understands "place" and responds well to boundaries.
Mouse is very comfortable around other dogs, though she's still learning boundaries and can be a little pushy with them at times with zero concept of personal space (with dogs only - not humans… yet). She responds well to fair corrections from other dogs and needs a patient dog in her new home.
Mouse needs an understanding adopter who will give her space and allow her to build trust at her own pace; she's not a lap dog (yet!) and prefers a gentle, slow introduction to new people and situations.
