🩷 Phoebe – Gentle, Resilient, and Learning to Shine
Phoebe’s story is one of quiet strength and second chances. This 1½-year-old beauty came to MAGDRL in rough shape after being severely underweight and neglected, but her gentle heart never faltered. From the moment she arrived, Phoebe has shown herself to be sweet, curious, and eager to please.
Now safe in her foster home, Phoebe is blossoming. She enjoys the company of other dogs, does well with cats, and is kind and patient with children. She’s playful, affectionate, and surprisingly well-adjusted for all she’s been through.
Phoebe will make a wonderful companion for an active home where she can continue learning about the joys of indoor life and being loved.
It won't be much longer before Phoebe is ready to meet her forever family!

The Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League, Inc. (MAGDRL) was organized in 1979 to serve the seven states of the Mid-Atlantic region. It now covers NY, NJ, PA, MD, DE, VA, DC, and WV.
The organization is a DC corporation and has a charitable tax-exemption under code 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
MAGDRL is staffed completely by volunteers. Therefore, 100% of the funds donated to our organization goes to helping our Great Danes.
We do not have a central location. Our dogs live in the homes of volunteers who have offered to be foster families for our dogs.
