Meet Elleri—a 7½-month-old black-and-white beauty with the confidence of a supermodel and the zooms of a wind-up toy that never stops. She’s sassy, smart, sweet, and stunning—and she knows it.
Found as a stray, this spirited girl is now living her best indoor life—playing, bouncing, and occasionally testing gravity. She’s affectionate on her own terms: one minute she’s a snuggly lap cat, the next she’s reminding you of her boundaries with a well-timed hiss or love nip.
Elleri adores other cats but plays rough—think professional wrestling, not patty-cake—so a confident young feline friend would be her best match. She may also do fine with a calm, cat-savvy dog who knows when to give her space.
She’s food-motivated, hilarious, and fearless—her foster mom crates her during meal prep to keep her from launching herself onto the counter in hot pursuit of snacks. She’s got goals, and they all involve food.
Elleri will thrive in a cat-experienced home with adults or older kids who appreciate her sass, energy, and quirks. She would thrive with another playful kitty who doesn't mind if Elleri takes the wheel.
If you love a cat with a big personality and endless zoomies, this tiny tornado is ready to spin her way right into your heart.
Elleri is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
