Bella is a beautiful dilute tortie with mottles of light grey and beige born in August 2022. She had a rough start in life, finding herself in the middle of Gifford Pinchot State Park. No one really knows how she got there, but we suspect she was dumped. She was rescued by a kind stranger, and LCCR took her in. She had no problem adjusting to the indoor life, but judging by how she hisses and reacts to other cats, we suspect she had some negative run ins with some along the way. That's ok--lots of cats don't like other cats. They're allowed. But Bella does like people, and she also doesn't mind the company of dogs either (as long as they aren't all up in her business).
Bella is a quiet gal except for when it's mealtime, then she'll remind you that she has a voice. Other than that, she is content chilling around the house--looking out the windows, laying on the bed, napping, playing with random toys on the floor, making random appearances on Zoom meetings. She doesn't particularly "enjoy" being held, but you can certainly pick her up and move her from place to place. She does enjoy when you lay down in bed and she will come and make biscuits on your belly while she purrs. Soon she settles in, which you can speed up by petting her. She likes to sleep next to you or elsewhere on the bed. She even will share the bed with a dog sibling
Bella needs a nice quiet home with adopters who have had cats before. She has impeccable litter box habits. Kids aren't going to work for this little lady. Bella is currently living in a foster home in New Cumberland. Bella's adoption donation is $115 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing (negative for both), microchip, and spay.
