My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Birthdate:  08/09/2020

Breed: One of a kind

Weight:   40 lbs

Alice is ready to steal your heart one nose boop at a time!

This gentle soul is always ready to lean in for cuddles, making her the perfect companion for those cozy nights on the couch. With her warm, soulful eyes, Alice has an uncanny ability to melt away your worries with just one snuggle.

Whether she's playfully wagging her tail or seeking out the comfiest spot on your lap, Alice's joyful spirit is contagious! All she wants is to be by your side, showering you with affection and reminding you that life's little moments are meant to be cherished. So get ready for endless cuddles and sweet boops—Alice is here to bring joy and warmth into your life!

A note from Alice's foster parents:

"Alice is the most precious, gentle soul. She lights up the whole room and loves to greet everyone she sees and is curious about other dogs. When you come home, she comes running to the door, wiggling her whole body and wagging her tail with so much excitement she can't contain it. Alice is so affectionate and loves getting belly rubs. When she sleeps, she looks so peaceful and precious. She will melt your heart and take all of your worries away. She has the sweetest brown eyes and gorgeous light/dark brown fur. Alice loves cuddling up with you on the couch and being in your presence. She gets so excited when it's lunch time and leaps with joy. She loves going out for walks and sniffing everything she sees. She is always up for an adventure!! There aren't enough words to describe how special Alice is. Anyone would truly be lucky to have Alice in their life"

The Rescue is open 7 days a week for you to come and meet our pets! Walk-ins are welcome! In order to interact with them, you’ll need a simple questionnaire filled out. You can fill this out at the Rescue or before you come in at: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/36924/generic

If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold pets for any reason. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.

The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
