My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

As anyone with bangs can attest, they sometimes get in your eyes and impair your vision. Though she prefers the British term, Fringe, that may be the case for our newest cute chihuahua (just kidding, Miss Fringe is blind but we prefer a bit of backstory). What this snow-white senior lacks in eyesight she makes up for in treat-based enthusiasm, and she’s able to find her way around through a bit of trial and error. Of course, Fringe is highly portable, weighing in at only six pounds, so you could easily carry her with you (again, much like bangs – a bit of a fashion accessory AND a statement). If you’ve always wanted bangs but were afraid of the commitment, perhaps you could take a chance on Fringe?

Here's some notes from her foster:

Fringe is a 15 year old, snowy chihuahua who only recently has become eye-free--and so far that hasn't slowed her down a bit. Fringe navigates the world with no fear- she's a confident girl who explores her surroundings to seek out her favorite things-- her blankie, a person to cuddle with and snacks!

As independent as Fringe is, she is still a huge cuddle bug-- she loves to be held, carried in a pouch, snuggled up against you on the couch. She is just the best of both worlds!

Fringe would thrive in a calm home (with or without other pups) so she can continue to feel safe, loved and cared for. She is guaranteed to make you laugh multiple times a day with her "I can do it myself!" attitude, and melt your heart with her never ending cuddles.

A few other notes-
She has a HUGE appetite- not picky at all.
She does great in the car
Loves the company of dogs-- but can be a bit bossy.
Sleeps through the night
Is mostly potty trained when kept to her routine
