My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pilgrim! This handsome brown tabby boy is a curious little explorer with the most stunning dark stripes that look like they were brushed on by an artist. Pilgrim’s always on a mission - whether he’s chasing toys, investigating every corner of the room, or climbing into your lap for a well-deserved nap after a big adventure.

He’s playful and curious, but also has a sweet snuggly side that makes him the perfect little companion. He has velvety soft fur with cute ear tufts, and loves to be petted.  With his adorable face, gentle purrs, and those mesmerizing stripes, he’s guaranteed to charm his way right into your heart.

Pilgrim's right eye is a little wonky. He's not in pain and has been that way since birth, and it doesn't slow him down at all.

All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, FVRCP vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.

All of our kittens must go to homes where they will remain inside 24/7.

Young kittens must go home in pairs, or to a home with another cat. Infrequently we will make exceptions.

We'd love to schedule a meet & greet with you and the kittens! If you're interested in adopting, please visit our website and fill out an application: https://toniskittyrescue.org/adoption-application

More about this rescue

Toni, our founder, started fostering underage kittens that came into the local municipal shelter in 2000. By 2003 she had a network of foster parents and was saving many little lives so she became a non-profit. As of 2023 we are no longer with the shelter and are on our own. We have only one part-time employee and a dedicated group of fosters. All our kittens are vaccinated and spayed/neutered and receive all necessary medical care while in our care. We taken in strays from our partner trappers and from high-kill and over-crowded shelters, specializing in neo-nates and kittens under 6 weeks.
