Meet Woodchuck — the sweetest little black kitten with a heart full of potential.

Found tucked safely in a wood pile, this precious boy has come a long way. While he’s still a bit cautious and needs reassuring. Woodchuck shows so much promise every single day. With patience, love, and reassurance, this shy sweetheart is going to blossom into the loving companion he’s meant to be. Woodchuck has an adorable tiny meow and a gentle, curious nature. He absolutely adores playing with his brother, Tristan, and the two share a beautiful bond — they would love to find a forever home together. He also gets along wonderfully with his foster siblings and has even been fostered with a Chihuahua.

If you have a soft heart, a little patience, and room for two, Woodchuck and Tristan could be the perfect pair to fill your home with love, playfulness, and trust that grows more each day. Woodchuck is waiting for a family who will help him feel safe, seen, and cherished.

Submit Application

All applicants must be prepared to provide proof of home ownership or a lease showing the pet will be allowed in the home

2.
Approve Application

applicant will need to provide photos of the property detailing fencing and overall yard. More may be required

3.
Interview

Interviews may be done in person or on the phone or at time of meet and greet.

PETCO - CATS
Cat and kitten adoptions EVERY Saturday from 1-4pm and at the Napa Petco located at 3284 Jefferson Street, Napa, CA 94558.

PETCO - DOGS
Dog and puppy adoptions EVERY Saturday from 12:00-4:00 at the Napa Petco located at 3284 Jefferson Street, Napa, CA 94558.

Whiskers, Tails and Ferals is a network of volunteers and foster families caring for dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens who have been abandoned, are feral, or are facing the threat of being euthanized at an animal shelter.
All dogs and cats that come into our program are spayed or neutered. Felines are FeLV and possibly FIV, vaccinated, wormed (as needed) and micro-chipped.
All sick animals are immediately put under the care and supervision of a Napa veterinarian and Whiskers, Tails and Ferals pays for their medications.
The cats and kittens that are not able to be tamed, are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and returned to their colonies where colony guardians continue to feed and care for them.
