Nova is a 10-month-old German Shepherd/Doberman mix, about 40 lbs, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. I adopted her recently and she’s very sweet with people, affectionate, and bonds quickly. She loves walks, exploring, and settling next to you once she feels safe.
I was told she was cat-friendly, but after a few days she began showing a strong prey drive toward my cats. For their safety, she has to be fully separated in my home. She deserves a home where she can move freely, get proper training, and not be confined long-term.
Nova would do best in a dog-experienced home with no cats or small animals. She’s smart, eager to learn, and has a lot of potential with structure and consistency.
I’m rehoming her due to this safety issue and recent health challenges that make it difficult for me to meet her training and exercise needs. I just want her to go to a safe, responsible home where she can thrive.
