Murphy is a 5 year old purebred American pit bull terrier who we adopted in New Mexico. Murphy is a loving, high-energy dog who enjoys play and attention. He loves to run around the yard chasing balls during the day, and will cuddle on the couch all afternoon with you. He loves to bask in the sun and is incredibly loyal to those he loves.
He loves people but does struggle with anxiety around unpredictable behavior, so his ideal home would not include young children.
Murphy can find other dogs overwhelming and is much happier and more relaxed when he is the king of his castle.
We believe Murphy would do best as a single dog in a child-free home (or at least older than toddler-age) with experienced dog owners who can provide structure, stimulation, and a calm environment.
