This adorable Abyssinian gentleman has the most gorgeous chocolate-colored coat, hence his sweet name! Cookie is a young boy with a big personality, adorable whorls of fur, and a curiosity that makes him a joy to watch.
Cookie experienced some scary moments around dogs, so he’s looking for a calm, dog-free home where he can feel safe and loved. Once he knows he’s in a secure environment, Cookie warms up beautifully. He enjoys gentle interactions, tasty veggie snacks, and cozy hideaways where he can relax.
He loves fun enrichment opportunities, soft bedding, and tasty veggies. He will require a guinea pig friend as he is very social. Cookie has so much love and charm to offer. If you’re ready to give this chocolate-colored sweetheart his happy new beginning, Cookie can’t wait to meet you!

Matchmaking is what we love to do. We do our very best to find the best fit for the pets awaiting adoption at the Rhode Island SPCA. If your application is selected, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to schedule a meet & greet. Because of the volume of applications we receive, sometimes we can only respond to the selected applicant. You are always welcome to contact us anytime about the status of your application at adoption@rispca.com.
