What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Willow is 4 years old, and is a very sweet, cuddly, and playful Mini Australian Shepherd. She is smart and easy to train. She loves to play fetch, go to the beach, and chase squirrels. She does very well with grooming, and tolerates baths, brushing, and nail clippings as necessary tasks (so long as treats are involved). I've never seen her be aggressive toward anyone, even during uncomfortable vet visits. Except for the occasional dish rag, she knows what is hers and will only chew on toys or cardboard that is given to her.
We are looking for a new home that will have more time to work with her. She needs more of a job/mental stimulation than we are able to give her. She is a very anxious dog, and struggles with being apart from us when we go to work or leave the house. She is generally house trained, but has begun having accidents when we leave her alone for a shower. A new home for her would need experience with training working breeds to set her up for success.
